We use GPS so we know in real time where our foot patrol personnel and vehicles are located. We monitor our security guards while they are on duty 24/7. They must check in at specific times throughout their shift.
This is critical. If a guard does not check in at the arranged time for any reason, we dispatch a security lead to the site to assess the situation, and when necessary, take over the guard shift.
Scanning Check-In System We want to make sure that our guards are covering their scheduled rounds on time. To do so, we install small Radio Frequency-Identification (RFID) tags throughout the property. When a security guard passes a RFID location, a RFID scanner records it.
The RFID scans are reviewed by a security field officer to verify security guards are properly monitoring all designated sites at a location. These reports are available to clients for review.
